Photo Fix
By Photo ArtistAltering and restoring photographs to enhance their impact and clarity is an important service and there are no limits to what can be created.
Below you will find a few basic examples of what I can do.
The first old photograph from about 50 years ago of my dad playing polo in college on his horse Saber.

The original photo was very scratched and had lost much of its clarity. Although you can see an additional polo stick, most don’t realize that another player is in the shadow behind the horse. Notice that in the photo fix to the right how visit the image becomes. You can see additional detail and the photo “pops” back into life.
Of course there are a variety of ways that photo restoration or a photo fix can be implemented.

Above is a composite from an antique photo taken in 1921. You can see the damage done in the original shot. This series shows several different approaches to that same photograph to demonstrate the range of alterations that can be done on one photograph.
In addition, I created an art piece called “Toxic” from that same photograph.

Below is a photo fix to illustrate how photo fix or photo restoration can be used to make a difference in more contemporary photography.

Finally, here is another example using an image of a damaged label. You can see how I was able to render a photo fix to make the damage disappear in the final product.

If you are in need of photo restoration or a photo fix please don’t hesitate to call me or contact me for a quote on your project or family photography.
