By Photo Artist

Sharon Beth Skonetski has been a photographer for most of her adult life. Raised in an artistic family, her creativity permeates her photographic work.

Although she specializes in natural light photography, much of her photo art resembles that of a portrait artist. Today she is an skilled digital photographer but she also creates in Photoshop where she turns photos into works of art.

Sharon has always been passionate about photography and in early adulthood she owned her own photography studio and darkroom in Vancouver, BC Canada.

At the time she photographed everything from furniture catalogs to weddings and rock bands. Today she uses her life long experience and thousands of hours in practice to take professional head shots, event photos, and to restore valuable photographs for people needed her help.

She also enjoys landscape and portrait photography where she uses high dynamic range photography.

Sharon Skonetski’s work has sold all over the world and most recently took First Place and Second Place in the San Bernardino Mountains Land Trust calendar contest in 2008 and 2009.

Her work has also been featured in national magazines, print ads, and in a variety of promotional materials. On The Mountain magazine featured her photo art on the cover (February/March 2009).

Originally from Texas and a long time resident of British Columbia, Canada, she has called southern California her home for the last 20 years.

Sharon Beth is a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals (NAPP) and currently lives with her husband in Running Springs, California.
